Apologies - I forgot to mention I’m using firefox.
It works ok in Chrome!

Hi,
I’ve set the options to not display the previous and next text in the pikachoose.js file yet it’s still showing them. I’ve cleared my cache yet it it’s still showing. Any idea why?

I’ve run into the same issue… I’m trying to hide the thumbnails and show the prev/next but it doesn’t seem to work. did anyone resolve this?
Robin says:
Has anyone run into thumbnails not cropping/resizing when using IE? Works fine in Firefox. I surmise it’s a style issue…
Brad says:
I like your project. I am having issues try to center the thumbnails under the larger image. I have various pages I am showing different types of images and each page has a different number of images so I do not want to hardcode a value.

Hi,
Great script! I wonder if it’s possible to use this script in combination with something like Lightbox? I use a jQuery Lightbox but it won’t activate because the links in Pikachoose are between span tags. Is there any way to fix this?
This doesn’t work:

thanks,
Puneet says:
Nice plugin. Though a minor issue.
In the styles.css the demo has .pika_play a.pika_play_button and .pika_play a.pika_stop_button whereas the downloaded version gives .pika_play a and .pika_play a so its causing a problem. The pause button only shows up because the background style gets overriden.
Thanks
Puneet

Thanks.

Great gallery. However I have come across a problem with the auto-play feature. It works fine in Safari and Chrome but in Firefox when auto play is enabled the gallery skips displaying every second image for some reason. It will show the caption and highlight the thumbnail but the image does not change. The weird thing is when you press the play button the slideshow will work correctly even in firefox.
FYI I tested this with your demo file and simply changed autoplay to true and the same problem occurs. I cannot figure this out. Do you know why this would be happening?

nice jquery image gallery.thank you

i finally fixed the problem that i was having.
i had no idea why those buttons, thumb-circle-active(empty), were misaligned.
after a painful process of elimination i discovered that pikachoose is anathema to the Strict DOCTYPE.
***use Transitional only ***

Great gallery! It’s my favorite jQuery photo gallery that I’ve encountered so far.
Was wondering if the skipping every other photo issue has been resolved. I’ve seen it reported a few times, and wasn’t sure if a solution had been created.
I’ve noticed this: it skips every other photo on initial load in FF3.5 and IE8. If I pause/restart the slideshow, it stops skipping — and sometimes it works properly on a page refresh.
I’ve tried slowing down the slide_speed to 5000 to give the page more time to load, but that hasn’t helped. Any info or help on this matter would be greatly appreciated. TIA!
I’m using V3.0. Any h

How can I set thumbs at the top and then main picture below it ?
thanks

How can i have my thumbs to the right?
Dan says:
To those having problems with it loading in Firefox but not IE8, please make sure you have defined a DOCTYPE for your document - this will almost always happen if you do not.
